Milanese Gremolata (infused) Olive Oil




Gremolata is an Italian herb condiment typically made of lemon zest, garlic, and parsley. The herbs and citrus zest are typically crushed together in a mortar to release their pungent essential oils. It is a traditional accompaniment to the Milanese braised veal shank dish osso buco alla milanese. Many of customers prefer this oil to finish fish and scrambled eggs. A surprisingly lemony finish enhances this fresh, infused ultra premium olive oil.  We also recommend crushing a few anchovies and mixing with this oil for a more traditional gremolata before serving.
